Catalonia Albinoni Hotel is a building which is included in the catalog of the artistic heritage of the city. It was a mansion built in 1876 by master builder Peter Bassegoda i Mateu. It was not until 1998 that the building was opened as a three star hotel. The hotel maintains intact the austere facade of the neoclassical style, with Romantic and Baroque motifs. The entrance, with sufficient breadth to access the carriages at the beginning of the century, leads us to the inner courtyard of the building which has been restored as the original model and now we find the hotel reception and bar from where we can admire the ladder marble original, typical of the houses of those times.
Located in the heart of the city of Barcelona between the Plaza Catalunya and the Gothic Quarter and near Las Ramblas. The hotel is located just some minutes far away from the main points of interest such as the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, the Palau de la Musica and the Liceu opera house, and you can also find numerous restaurants, bars and many shops.
All rooms have been decorated with great care and are equipped with air conditioning, minibar, direct dial telephone, interactive satellite television with pay channels, Canal +, safe and a marble bathroom with hair dryer. All rooms have been soundproofed to ensure peace and a deep rest.
Our customers can enjoy a breakfast buffet, served in the courtyard garden of the hotel. Furthermore, the Hotel Catalonia Albinoni opened the restaurant "El Jardi de l'Angel, where you can enjoy a typical Catalan cuisine menu. The opening hours are 19:00 to 22:30.
You can also soak in our outdoor pool with waterfall overflowing. You can take a drink on the terrace outside with wood floor and garden area with palm trees.
