The town of Peñacaballera stands at the heart of the Ruta de la Plata, on the path of an old Roman road, and very near Ski Resort Sierra de Béjar - la Covatilla, on the Coto de Nuestra Señora del Carmen estate, stands the Posada Real Jardín del Conde which takes its name form the beautiful mixed garden that was created at the end of the 19th century by Count Tres Palacios.
